My Head is Spinning, So I’m Getting Off the Merry Go Round ……
…….for a few minutes. Well, the vote for an interim executive director has snuck up on me. Guess I’ve been busy with other stuff. Here are my thoughts on this development, for what they are worth …….
1. Voting on an interim is an excellent move by the search committee. It shows that they are not bound by a time table.
2. It would be nice if we could add one word in front of the interim executive director’s titile, that is “intentional”. I believe it would be in the best interest of the new executive director and the future of the BGCT to have someone come in and get the house somewhat in order before a new guy comes in (and I do mean guy).
3. Montoya has it right in that our interim does not need to listen to no one other than the churches. Forget Currie and the elite! Listen to the churches or this convention will be hurting for a long, long, time.
Keep praying for my parents. The insurance company seems to think that Dad is too far gone to have any rehab despite what his doctor, nurses, and physical therapists say. Because of that, he is getting worse at home.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.
God is good all the time, all the time God is good!
